The phenomenom of the digital world has always impressed me in so many different ways. I love trying out new things, playing with different techniques and creating something special. Photography simply combines that all. I gathered lots of experiences in webdesign, graphic arts and digital image processing by dealing with this field.
When I started doing Parkour in 2006 my interest in filming and cameras grew gradually. I got myself a cine camera to film me and my friends during practice. After some while I bought a DSLR camera, which I always like to call the beginning of my personal adventure in photography. But also my girlfriend played an important part in this whole story. By the time we met she was studying photography and therefore I got even more inspired and enthusiastic.
As time went by I improved my skills and became even more passionate about it. So I decided to do it professionally. Lucky and ambitious as I was I had the chance to connect with the right people, so I was able to make lots of new experiences and to become gradually more successful.
As a keen sportsman I’ve always been fascinated by motion and any kind of action. That’s what makes photography even more exciting for me. Finding a stunning location, catching the right light, playing with different motives and taking the perfect picture at the exactly right moment is what makes it so special. Also the possibility to create something completely new and unusual is one of the reasons why I love my job. Because of my never-ending curiosity in this field I regularly work with many different methods and also in cooperation with 3D-artist. Challenges are part of this profession and I’m ready to face new ones.
I don’t want my photographs to just look good, I want them to tell a whole story.
